One of the things I learned in college

My college roommate Jim would always tell me that you just do not know what will happen. I thought my life was boring at the time. I would bet Jim that I knew just what would happen tomorrow. I would spell out my routine to him. I would tell where I would got, what I would see, and who I would run into.

Everytime I made that bet I would come to Jim's desk and admit that I was wrong. Those were always the days when something out of the blue happened. Over and over again I would think I could predict the future and I was always wrong. By the time college was over I had learned this lesson.

This weekend reminded me of this lesson. I knew Saturday was going to be good, but it was much more then I could have expected. There are some days when you just have to be happy about the things you cannot predict. Todays is one of those days.
